YOUR TOTAL SKIN HEALTH IS IN SAFE HANDS WITH
DR SARAH ANTHONY.

Dr Sarah Anthony’s journey in medicine has been driven by a profound interest in skin health and the ageing process. With a commitment to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans, she strives to optimise the well-being of our body’s largest and arguably most vital organ.

Before embarking on her path to General Practice, Dr Sarah pursued a diverse academic and professional background. She earned a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Queensland University of Technology in 2007 and Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics from Griffith University in 2009. Following this, she delved into research and clinical practice as a Dietitian at Queensland Health from 2010 to 2012, before departing for medical school.

In 2015, she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery and subsequently honed her skills as a senior resident in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Northern Health, Melbourne, where she dedicated two and a half years. During this time she also gained experience in Peri-operative and Intensive care Medicine. Seeking new challenges, she ventured to Tasmania in 2019, as a Plastic Surgery Service Registrar at Launceston General Hospital before returning to Melbourne to further expand her expertise in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Eastern Health during the lockdown of 2020. However, her heart remained in Tasmania, leading her back to the island state by the end of the year, where she established her roots and commenced General Practice Training.
